Flight delayed, transferred to another which connect via Detroit.
Small planes, smooth transitions.
Older woman (65) named Rexanne (after Rex, her grandfather) was seatmate.
She was on her way to England to meet old friends.
From 7 years old and middle school, respectively.
Arrived JFK only a half hour late.
Air train, subway to Brooklyn.
5 p.m.
Keys from neighbor.
Entered Christa Bower's apartment after 18+ hours travel.
Greeted by Beyla, her Jack Russell terrier.
Usually a bark-er, surprisingly very calm this time.
Settled in.
Christa got home from work.
We had dinner at Alchemy.
We slept.
'Twas nice to be back.
